Art Deco Posters by Mads Berg

Previously, we had a post which covered the theme of art deco and today we are going to continue this topic with the selection of inspirational art deco posters and illustrations. For those, who are not acquainted with this style – art deco is an eclectic artistic and design style that began in Paris in the 1920s and spread all over the world throughout the 1930s. This unusual style imbibed influences from many different directions of the early twentieth century, including neoclassical, constructivism, cubism, modernism and futurism and also got some inspiration from ancient Egyptian and Aztec forms.

Mads Berg graduated from the Danish Design School in 2001, and since then, he has been working independently as an illustrator. Today, Mads also occasionally works as a lecturer at the Danish Design School. We would like to introduce this talented person for our readers and show his art deco–inspired advertisement works.
